The City of Adelaide was built in Sunderland, England in 1864 by William Pile, Hay and Co. The ship was built to transport passengers and goods between Britain and Australia. The ship was named after the city of Adelaide, South Australia. The ship was made of composite construction, with an iron frame and timber hull. The City of Adelaide made 23 annual return voyages between London and Adelaide, South Australia and played an important role in the development of Australia. In the 1920s, the City of Adelaide was renamed HMS Carrick and used as a navy training ship in Scotland. The City of Adelaide is the world's oldest surviving clipper ship

This is a really nice puzzle however it is what I would call fragile while putting together. The pieces fit but are very loose, you need to be constantly pushing them together and when you remove a wrong piece a lot of other pieces come with it. However, the pieces themselves are a good thickness and sturdy. It also has more than one cut to the pieces which make it challenging. I really enjoyed this puzzle and it is definitely a hard one for me. The picture on the puzzle is very good quality. It shows the book cover very well and the detail is great. The size I chose I found was perfect in detail for me. It shows very well.
