What a difference one hundred years makes. This quaint ragamuffin town is the New York Financial District, and just down the block is where the world trade towers stood (now the freedom tower).
On the left is the Liberty Street ferry terminal, it was a hub that connected people to NJ using boats, and they also had a train service. So it was very popular. They stayed a station till 1960.
