A pine crest depicting an old pine tree with its branches formed in tiers, typically three. It's called 'three-tiered pine' or 'three-branched pine'. The design is associated with the Saigusa family who used this crest. The branches can be asymmetrical, leaning either to the right or left. When leaning to the left, it's called 'left three-tiered'.
