I purchased this item during a 25% off sale, and a free shipping promotion. It is thin and not a plush, thick blanket by any means. That is ok, I had planned to buy the sherpa version but it was out of stock, so I knew I was getting a thinner material with this choice. It's sort of a slick, shiny material. My issue is that I purchased as a gift, the back is white and two of the corners look like they got drug across a filthy floor or machine, and then the picture on front is off-kilter, making the corners slanted white instead of the blue saturating the entire front. Colors are vibrant and beautiful, but the printing itself is off-kilter, leaving slanted white on corners.
