Karen lives in Wasilla with her husband and two children where the beauty of nature influences her art. During the winter months she can be found creating art in her studio from references collected on her various journeys or travelling the Hawaiian Islands visiting galleries and painting en plein air. During the summer months there is little one can do to keep her indoors. Karen packs up her paint and the kids and is often found enjoying the fresh air, artist style, recording the inspiration surrounding her.
