Christ in the Desert Served by Angels (1581-1642) by Frans Francken II Our Lord goes into the desert for forty days and forty nights, where the devil tempts Him. Afterwards, choirs of angels come and tend to Christ. The divine angels provided Jesus with the food as a clear sign that was acceptable for him to break his fast and is proof that Jesus was never wrong because he never lost his faith in God during the temptation scene.
