Vintage illustration marine life animal design featuring a Chinstrap penguin standing on a rocky cliff about to dive into the ocean or sea. The name comes from the narrow black band under their heads which makes it look like they are wearing black helmets. This marking makes these birds one of the most easily identified types of penguin. Other names for them are "Ringed Penguins", "Bearded Penguins", and "Stonecracker Penguins" due to their harsh call.
