Chinese water dragon for lizard lovers paper plate

The grace and beauty of the Chinese water dragon are well known to all. This is a large arboreal lizard that inhabits the forests of eastern Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, and southern parts of China. Water dragons are wonderful, fairly tame, non aggressive pet! They are beautiful to observe given their attractive bright green colour. Chinese water dragons are large diurnal, arboreal lizards, living mainly in the branches of trees and bushes, however they have also been found in burrows in sandy places. The diet of the water dragon consists mainly of insects, supplemented with an occasional small fish, mammal or reptile. Given optimal care, green water dragons can live up to 16 years.
