Chinese Kitchen God Postcard

I was reading online about symbols for Chinese New Year. This fellow is based off a desc I found from Amy Tan's book "The Kitchen God's Wife." It described the God as a big man, somewhat stern looking in regal clothes with a tablet and quill. This is my interpretation. Took me a good 2 hours from start to finish.
