Cherub Angel Pigs Postcard
Our adorable postcard is a spoof of Italian Renaissance painter Raphael’s famous angel painting, this time round starring two cute pigs! The vintage print was produced around 1890 for Chicago & St Louis based lard refiners N K Fairbank & Co. The card would be perfect for lovers of vintage art, and pigs, of course! We’ve added a deep purple background colour to the card, but you can change this to suit. The original image of the two cherubic piglets is courtesy of the Library of Congress Prints & Photographs Division, Washington D.C. The caption on the print reads,Fairbank's cherubs - Presented with the compliments of N.K. Fairbank & Co., lard refiners, Chicago & St. Louis.
