The blooms can be very eye catching and stunning to look at! Its colourful flowers can last for weeks and attract dozens of bees at a time. Butterflies also seem to favour its flowers. Its flowers are found in a wide variety of colours: lavender, lilac, blue, violet, purples, pinks, and white. In the fall the flowers develop into small reddish black or purplish berries.
