The Charlotte-Genesee lighthouse is located in Rochester, New York. The 40 foot tower is made of stone, and located on Lake Ontario at the entrance of the Genesee River. It was originally built in 1822, and is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a popular site of visit when in the city of Rochester.
