CERVANTES, I suppose?-Poster -400 Years QUIXOTE Poster

"This person whom you see here, with an oval visage, chestnut hair, smooth open forehead, lively eyes, a hooked but well-proportioned nose, and silvery beard that twenty years ago was golden, large moustaches, a small mouth, teeth not much to speak of, for he has but six, in bad condition and worse placed, no two of them corresponding to each other, a figure midway between the two extremes, neither tall nor short, a vivid complexion, rather fair than dark, somewhat stooped in the shoulders, and not very lightfooted: this, I say, is the author of Galatea, Don Quixote de la Mancha, The Journey to Parnassus, which he wrote in imitation of Cesare Caporali Perusino, and other works which are current among the public, and perhaps without the author's name. He is commonly called MIGUEL DE CERVANTES SAAVEDRA."— Miguel de Cervantes, Exemplary Novels (Author's Preface) There is no certaintity about the looks of Cervantes apart from his above lines. The poster displays some of the "official portraits" , from the first, dated 1705 in a Dutch edition, but French translation of his Exemplary Novels. The poster includes a facsimile of Cervantes' signature. Don Quixote was first published in 1605 and it's continuation in a second part was published in 1615. Our postcards commemorate both the IVth Centenary, which started in year 2005 and will end in 2015, and the 30th. Anniversary of the TV series.

My Bible verse postcard, turned out excellent. I love it and have it already framed. It was so reasonably priced for something done so well. Thank you to Zazzle and the artist! I thought it looked exactly like what I ordered. Perfect.

Poster is printed clearly, good quality . Inclusive of many prints . The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown

I am a fan of Ravens and needed to have a poster of my favourite bird. The image quality is sharp.
