Celtic Triskele Mandala. Dark sun mandala in purple, black and gold with a gold and black Celtic Triskelion or "Triple Spiral" at the centre. The triple spiral, or Triskele, is one of the oldest symbols of Celtic Mysticism, and often stands for the "three realms" - Land, Sea and Sky, or Body, Mind and Spirit, the Holy Trinity or the concept of the triple goddess. Mandalas are a favourite symmetrical artistic tradition in both the Indian and Celtic Cultures. They are used in meditation to focus the mind and find a sense of serenity, peace and balance.

I bought this gift for my girlfriend. She loves to cook and has been saving her favorite family recipes to create binders for both of her children of their traditional family dishes.
