This design features a Celtic cross, which is a form of Christian cross featuring a ring (or nimbus) that emerged in Ireland, France and Great Britain in the Early Middle Ages. it became widespread through its use in stone high crosses, especially in regions evangelized by Irish missionaries, from the 9th through the 12th centuries. The form gained new popularity during the Celtic Revival of the 19th century. The Celtic cross is now appreciated around the world.

These glasses arrived in very short time. They are big, beautiful and sturdy glasses we like to use for beer and cider drinkers. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for these types of glasses. Two out of four had printing on them with a Sunflower. Absolutely beautiful ... though I thought the printing could be a wee bit larger.
