Cedar Falls in Hocking Hills state park in Ohio takes a 50 foot drop. Early settlers thought native hemlock trees were cedars, thus giving the falls its name. The falls make a split which rejoins before hitting the base pool. In winter when the falls freeze, one is presented with a sight of a different but still exciting nature.
