CBC 1940 Logo Tote Bag

Created by Hortense Binette, student from Montréal's École des Beaux Arts, who won a design contest organized by Radio-Canada in April 1940. A red map of Canada set above elongated lightning bolts spanning across the country, the design was intended to represent the unifying role the public broadcaster would play. Used between 1940 - 1958. The national public broadcaster really takes off in this decade. On January 1, 1941, CBC News Service is formally opened; Radio-Canada's News division is also

These bags were super cute (I purchased 3). The material is more of a canvas look & feel. The colour of the bag is slightly off white, but the letters look exactly as pictured. I took 3 photos in different lighting. Would recommend! I liked how there was an option to choose the font and colour of the name. The words are legible and the colours are exactly as pictured.

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday and she absolutely LOVES IT!!! She’s had this for almost a month and she’s been over using it. It nice, simple and sturdy. The size is perfect and the quality is very good. I will definitely purchase more of these. And, who doesn’t like a bag?
