Cawdor Castle, Scotland Card

Cawdor Castle, incorporating a 15th century Tower House, was originally a property of the Calder family, but passed to Clan Campbell in the 16th century and remains a Campbell property. One curious feature of the Castle is that it was built around a small, living Holly tree. The remains of the tree may still be seen in the lowest levels of the Tower.
