Who could have known that the proliferation of cave paintings from one single prehistoric tribe was remarkable. Taught from an early age even the children were extremely gifted and were frequently involved in some the painting. Plus the subject range and attention to minute detail is well beyond our belief and exceptional even before considering the art materials that were used. It seems that they learned new techniques from each other and often worked together to create masterpieces. Done on large rocks and stones as well as cave walls we could only wish that many more had survived.
