Cattleya Orchid and Three Hummingbirds (Heade) Cutting Board

This design features an image of an oil painting by American artist Martin Johnson Heade (1819–1904). It shows Brazilian hummingbirds in a tropical setting. There is a beautiful big pink orchid with light-green stems and pods in the foreground. Moss hangs from the trees and a blue-grey mist shrounds the backdrop. The work may have been inspired by the drawings of Charles Darwin and Frederic Edwin Church, and it was completed in 1871. The original painting was acquired by the National Gallery of Art in 1982.

Good quality glass cutting board....second to none.....very happy and would order more a size larger also. Nice print quality....I pushed it though with my pastel image and it was almost too light to consider using with frosted glass, so I would make sure that I use artwork a tad darker next time...choice of image is always important to any product.
