Austrian psychiatrist Sigmund Freud (1856 - 1939), the founding father of psychoanalysis, loved cats, as this wonderful quote on our postcard testifies: "Time spent with cats is never wasted." The great words are matched with an equally great painting by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Takahashi Shotei (1871 - 1944). Called Tama (white cat) it features a beautifully serene and contented white cat with beautiful yellow eyes. The postcard would be the perfect for cat lovers and admirers of vintage Japanese art. You can change the colour of the background on the postcard to suit.
