Cat Art Invitation

Indeed: The cats are farting out stars. I'm not sure I need to say much more here about this piece for it to be convincingly appealing, because farting cats seems like an ironclad marketing strategy to me, but in the interest of boosting my store's SEO, here we GO. That's right: You're here, & I'm long-winded, so prepare for the full diatribe. My primary intent in designing this piece was to amuse myself & others with imagery of cats farting out stars. I got the idea from a yule greeting card-- available here in my Zazzle store-- in whose design a five-pointed star was incidentally (or not. Hee!) placed by the cat's butt. My husband noticed that the star appeared to have been nebulaed (new nomenclature) by the cat's rectum, and commented as such. So, I let that remark roll around in my head for a few months & then one of our own cats got sick. First, the vet told us it was an upper respiratory infection; then, that the infection was caused by an tooth infection that had spread to the nearby sinuses; then... that the infection was caused by cancer. We had the vet test the lymphocites, & it turns out that our sweet, tiny, baby, ten year-old kitty angel has large cell lymphoma. The prognosis for this type of cancer is six months to a year. We're still waiting to meet with the oncologist to see what her treatment options are. I got off track here, but you'll live. I hope my cat lives, too. I love her so much. Who doesn't love a magical, loyal, & loving furry familiar? That's right, only jerks don't. Don't give this design to any jerks. Give it to the loved one in your life who lives for their little kitties & their morning coffee.
