Carnation, William Morris Tissue Paper

Carnation, William Morris Tissue Paper

William Morris (24 March 1834 – 3 October 1896) was a British textile designer, poet, novelist, translator, and socialist activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement. He was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production. His literary contributions helped to establish the modern fantasy genre, while he helped win acceptance of socialism in fin de siècle Great Britain. Quote:Wikipedia

This picture is absolutely stunning. The picture doesn’t quite do it justice. The detail in the bird is amazing, you’d swear she’s real. Easy to use, arrived quickly. Highly recommend trying this on anything you want to make unique or a conversation piece! Colours are crisp and vivid So pleased with this

This decoupage paper looks amazing on the old cedar trunk I refinished. It has made the trunk a special gift for my grandson. The design itself turned out much better than I expected. I am very pleased.

Gorgeous paper, a little heavier than traditional decoupage tissue, but it worked beautifully on my project nonetheless. Elegant - simple- tres chic! The printing turned out beautifully, it is consistent throughout the entire print with a somewhat faded or mottled coloration. I am in love with this paper.
