This design features a painting by the American impressionist artist John Singer Sargent (1856–1925). It shows two small girls dressed in white who are lighting paper lanterns as the night begins to fall. The children are in a beautiful garden strewn with green foliage, pink roses, yellow carnations and tall white lilies. The original painting was completed in 1885–86 and it is now owned by the Tate Britain gallery in London.
