This space photograph is from the Hubble Telescope, and shows a detailed area within the Carina Nebula (NGC 3372). This dark, rounded area is known as the Keyhole Nebula, and is about 8000 light years from Earth. The image has pink and orange-tinted gas clouds, against a deep blue sky studded with stars.
