    The Cape Cod Canal is a manmade waterway traversing the narrow neck of land that joins Cape Cod to the Massachusetts mainland. The canal is spanned by the Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge and two highway bridges — Bourne and Sagamore. The canal is approximately 7 miles long and connects Cape Cod Bay in the north to Buzzards Bay in the south. Approximately 20,000 annual users of the canal save about 135 miles by not using the route around the tip of Cape Cod.     I was looking for a cheerful, vibrantly coloured, fun, extra large , MCM designed mug for my first coffee of the day. This fits the bill! The print is purrfect and the colours are SO vibrant. The design definitely gives a true MCM vibe. The placement of the art is the only negative for me. I would prefer the main image be on opposite sides of the mug, rather than placed so close together, and not able to be seen by the drinker (me!) or the person opposite me (if there is one :-).
