Calligraphy gilded hand writing columbine cherry holiday postcard
Antique Latin calligraphy with gilded ornament and European columbine and sweet cherry illumination.
Pages from a 16th century illuminated manuscript titled 'Mira calligraphiae monumenta', in collaboration of two exceptional artists of the era.
The fabulous calligraphy was created in 1561-62 by György Bocskay, Croatian-born court secretary to the Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand I - the fine illustrations of flowers, fruits and insects were added by Belgian painter and illuminator Jorist Hoefnagel about 30 years later, after Bocskay's death.
DEFAULT PRINT SIZE IS 12" WIDE.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO CHOSE A WIDER PRINT SIZE THAN 16" FOR ANY PRODUCT. IF YOU DO THAT, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT LARGER PRINTS MAY LOSE THE ORIGINAL IMAGE QUALITY OF THE MANUSCRIPT

Beautiful cards. I’ll use them this year for Christmas. A bit on the dark side.

My cards came almost pealed off. The quality is horrible. I’m disappointed. I always use dazzle this is the first time a product isn’t done well. .
