Just outside of Custer State park, and before the town of Custer in the Black Hills of South Dakota, lies this small piece of granite called Calamity Peak. Supposedly named after Calamity Jane and/or the mine nearby. Not sure if that is true or not, but it sounds good! Taken with a NikonD100.
