C.P.R., s.s. "Princess Victoria", Victoria, B.C. Vintage Post Card restored and enhanced by Scenes from the Past. In 1884 the Canadian Pacific Railway Co. entered into shipowning and three steamers were built to operate Great Lakes services. A Vancouver - Victoria service started in 1897 and in 1901 the ships and coastal services of the Canadian Pacific Navigation Co were acquired. The Princess Victoria was built in 1902 and in1950 laid up. In 1952, she was sold to Tahsis & Co, Vancouver and renamed Tahsis No.3.
