A C-2A Greyhound, assigned to the "Providers" of Fleet Logistic Support Squadron Three Zero (VRC-30), prepares to make an arrested landing on the flight deck aboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) as the guided missile destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) maintains its plane guard station behind the carrier. The primary mission of the Plane Guard ship is to aid and rescue aircrew if they have to eject from their aircraft upon landing on the aircraft carrier.
