Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda Postcard

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a massive, incredibly diverse rainforest spanning southwestern Uganda. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and famously one of the few places in the world where visitors can encounter the endangered mountain gorilla. These gentle giants live within the dense, steep slopes of the park, making gorilla trekking the most sought-after activity here. Beyond gorillas, Bwindi is a vibrant ecosystem home to over 120 species of mammals, 350 species of birds, and hundreds of butterflies and trees.
