Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Uganda Postcard

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a vast, ancient jungle in southwestern Uganda, renowned for its population of mountain gorillas. However, its dense, mist-covered canopy is also a haven for the Great Blue Turaco, a large and striking bird with a turquoise body and a yellow-and-red beak that stands out against the dark, deep greens of the forest. The forest is aptly named, with thick vegetation and steep ridges that create a sense of total immersion in the wild.
