Bull Fight in Mexico (by Frederic Remington) Tote Bag

This design features a painting of the American Old West by Frederic Remington (1861–1909). It shows a traditional bull fight in Mexico. One of the fighters has fallen from his horse and is lying on the ground. The bull is aggressively attacking his horse. The other three bullfighters are waving their cloths at the bull, attempting to control its behaviour. There is also another gentleman riding a brown horse in the background. The event is taking place in a traditional bullfighting arena and the crowd is full with spectators. The sport of bullfighting emerged in Spain, but it soon became popular in Mexico. Bullfighting is controversial for many reasons, but this painting is evocative of its historical period. The original art was painted in 1889.
