This kitchen towel design features a restored copy of a chromolithograph poster for the Buffalo Bill Cody Wild West show theatrical poster portraying He Nu Kaw ["the first born"]; "The Handsomest Indian Maiden in the World." This promotional poster was printed circa 1880 by W.J. Morgan & Company, Lithographers [The Morgan Lithograph Company], Chicago. This poster depicts a beautiful young Native American woman dressed in idealized traditional Native American clothing wearing a small headdress and holding an archer's bow as she carries a quiver of arrows slung over her back.
