Budapest and hungarian parliament poster

This poster features the Hungarian Parliament framed through the stone arches of Fisherman’s Bastion on the Buda side of the Danube. Frigyes Schulek designed the Neo-Romanesque bastion as a panoramic terrace around the turn of the 20th century, with seven turrets symbolizing the Magyar tribal leaders. Across the river, Imre Steindl’s Neo-Gothic Parliament anchors the Pest bank, creating one of the characteristic vistas of Budapest’s UNESCO-listed Danube landscape.
