Members of Clan Buchanan can trace their lineage to a 1225 grant of lands on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond with the family home, Buchanan Auld House being located in Stirlingshire, Scotland. After centuries of involvement in Scotland’s politics and wars, the line failed in 1682. In 2018, after more than 300 years, a new clan chief was approved. While the chief's residence is the clan seat, Buchanan Auld House is the historic home, and this photo is of a courtyard of the ancient structure. INCREDIBLE! These bags are beautifully made with a thick canvas fabric, and a shoulder strap that hangs perfectly. This is the smaller of the two sizes that I ordered. So Impressed.
