This is a reproduction of a painting called “Common Swifts” that was produced in 1886 |oil on canvas, by Swedish painter Bruno Andreas Liljefors (1860 – 1939). Liljefors was a significant and perhaps the most influential wildlife painter of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. He was also one of the early Swedish comic creators. Ruben Liljefors, the composer and conductor, was his brother.
