As use of the symbol became widespread, a green leaf was used for Quebec and a gold leaf for Ontario. Later this became a red stylized eleven-point leaf, appearing on a white and red background on the country's flag. The term "eh" is commonly associated with Canada. As a Canadian I say eh all the time, eh. It's pronounced "a" as in "ay" or "late". It's often lampooned by Americans and also Canadians, as we like to poke at ourselves too, eh, and was especially promoted by comedians Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, who created the famous and funny Canadian stereotype characters Bob and Doug McKenzie. Of course you can customize this design if you want.
