Boy in a Sailboat on the River (by Magnus Enckell) Bath Mat
This design features a painting by the Finnish artist Magnus Enckell (1870–1925). It depicts a young boy on a sailing boat in a narrow river. There is a homemade yellow sail in the boat that is capturing the wind. However, the boy is also rowing with an oar in the water. He is clearly a brave and resourceful boy to be in control of a sailing boat at such a young age. The original artwork was painted by Magnus Enckell in 1902.
