Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi, known as Sandro Botticelli, was an Italian painter of the Early Renaissance. He belonged to the Florentine School under the patronage of Lorenzo de' Medici, a movement characterized as a "golden age". Among Botticelli's best known works are The Birth of Venus and Primavera.
The Birth of Venus (Italian: Nascita di Venere) is a 1486 painting by Sandro Botticelli. Botticelli was commissioned to paint the work by the Medici family of Florence, specifically Lorenzo di Pierfrancesco de' Medici under the influence of his cousin Lorenzo de' Medici, close friend to Botticelli. It depicts the goddess Venus, having emerged from the sea as a fully grown woman, arriving at the sea-shore (which is related to the Venus Anadyomene motif). The painting is on display at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.

I ordered these table numbers for my upcoming wedding. The product arrived on time and in good condition. Colouring of the flowers is true to the online image. I am happy with the thickness of the cardstock. I am happy with the image quality. There are some imperfections on each table number that seem to be some sort of ink that pressed very lightly onto the white background in places. The product is still usable and the imperfections aren't very noticeable but worth noting for anyone planning to order. I'm still very excited to use these table numbers for our wedding!
