Sandro Botticelli The Birth Of Venus
Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi, known as Sandro Botticelli, was an Italian painter of the Early Renaissance. He belonged to the Florentine School under the patronage of Lorenzo de' Medici, a movement characterized as a "golden age". Among Botticelli's best known works are The Birth of Venus and Primavera.
The Birth of Venus (Italian: Nascita di Venere) is a 1486 painting by Sandro Botticelli. Botticelli was commissioned to paint the work by the Medici family of Florence, specifically Lorenzo di Pierfrancesco de' Medici under the influence of his cousin Lorenzo de' Medici, close friend to Botticelli. It depicts the goddess Venus, having emerged from the sea as a fully grown woman, arriving at the sea-shore (which is related to the Venus Anadyomene motif). The painting is on display at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.

I love this sticker. It's cropped just right. I've always loved this gorgeous painting. I live in Asbury Park NJ so this is perfect for earrings that will be made with 1 5/8 inch wood discs that have my logo on the back, and I'll use it for key ring/lanyard sets that will have this disc added on. I hand-paint the edges to match the picture. Very tricky - or sometimes I'll just put a design around the edges that harmonizes. Hopefully someone will want to buy them SOMEDAY! Still a work in progress at this point. Good printing. I wish there was a beige letter option. Not for this one, just in general. Or more subdued color choices. I understand though - there has to be SOME limit.

I loved the stickers but wished there was more gold shimmer on all gold colored edges and on cross and on flowers. I should of ordered them a little larger. The printing was alright, wish they were a little more bold though. Looked a little faded.
