Bootan is Gari's original character, born in an animated gif. It was September 2002. Bootan was sold as goods in late summer of 2004, when Bootan printed on cutting sheets was crimped with an iron on T-shirts, aprons, tote bags, etc. After that, a business model called drop shipping appeared, and it has been released from the inventory burden and continues to the present day. The first was Upsold (withdrawn a long time ago) in August 2007, and then CafePress in the United States in July 2011.
