The couple, along with their children, would spend summers in the region, and this 120-room masterpiece, complete with six distinct stories, tunnels, a power house, Italian gardens, a dove cote, and a drawbridge, was intended to be their dream summer home. Today, the castle, though incomplete, stands as a stunning landmark and a major tourist attraction in the Thousand Islands region.
