Body Autonomy for Sons and Daughters Postcard

People should have body autonomy. That seems like a simple statement we can all agree on, and yet so many people don't see girls and women as people. If you're got a different set of rules for girls and women than for boys and men, you're participating in misogyny. A person doesn't become less than a person when they begin menstruation, a person isn't less than a person during pregnancy or when when trying to become pregnant, isn't less than a person because of miscarriage, transition, or during peri-menopause and menopause, so stop making rules and laws and social norms that treat a person as less than a person based on nothing but genitalia and hormones.
