Formerly a wild west gold mining town in the Sierra Mountains of California. Now a well preserved ghost town attraction. Officially named the Bodie State Historic Park, it is one of the most complete surviving ghost towns with 170 buildings. Once a booming town in the 1880s, left behind in the 1930s.
