Our logo, Blue Nightingale, is our hope that our work will give solidarity to sufferers of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). Just like the nightingale sings her song during the dark hour, we hope people with ME know we are quietly working in the dark to bring change to our lives. Blue is the colour chosen for ME Awareness. Nightingale also refers to Florence Nightingale, who was bedbound with ME and lobbied for improving healthcare from her bed. Here is a little background on how Blue Nightingale was created.
