About This Design

Blue Apothecary Bottle Tile

Designs by Susan Savad -- Large bottles filled with coloured water displayed in the apothecary window were a visual marker so that customers would know that this was a pharmacy. Blue tined water meant everything was fine, while if red water was displayed, it meant that there was a medical emergency in the town.
