"When the Morning Stars Sang Together" is an illustration created in 1820 by the famous English poet, artist and mystic William Blake (1757-1827). This illustrates the passage in the Book of Job, First Testament: "When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy?" The media used is pen and black ink, grey wash, and watercolor over traces of graphite. This illustration currently resides in New York City's "Pierpont Morgan Library."
