The Apache say that the golden eyes of the wolf rise with the sun and teach us all day long. The black wolf is known as “the protector”. Shadow (Black Wolf) namesake for Shadowland Foundation, was such a stunning creature. Her power was unmistakable and a sight to behold. Although an alpha female, most people thought she was male because her presence was so immense. She is now only with us in spirit, but her legacy lives on with our pack, the ranch and her nephew, Freedom. I was disappointed with the writing on the ornament. It’s just too small and can barely be seen. Also it was not as obvious on screen that the position of the hole for hanging was centered on person’s forehead. Writing that came with chosen frame is too small and can barely be seen.
