I believe this is American bittersweet, a plant native to America, as it appears to have smooth stems and no thorns. It could, however, be the Oriental bittersweet (introduced in 1890) that is overtaking our native vine. American bittersweet is edging it's way toward endangered because of the aggressive habits of it's Oriental look-alike.
